Having trained for years as a dedicated ballet dancer, Helen was instantly hooked on yoga after attending her first vinyasa flow class. She loved the dance like movement of the body, stringing postures together seamlessly to create a moving meditation with the breath. The immediate and lasting benefits, on both her mind and body, led her to want to inspire others, so she completed her teacher training with Yoga London in 2015.

Helen is passionate about intelligent movement, alignment and listening intuitively to your body.   For her, Yoga is a body and mind connection, creating an awareness of your body, how it moves and what’s good for it, whilst working within your own limits.   She has an acute eye for detail and enjoys guiding students through a safe practice based on her knowledge of anatomy. Strong foundations, staying focused, present and disciplined, are key to developing a long lasting enjoyable practice.

Helen is confident in teaching vinyasa flow, power yoga, hatha flow, mindful flow, teen yoga and yoga basics from beginner to intermediate level. She has further study planned in 2020 with teacher training with Norman Blair in Yin yoga.
